Description

The softest merino wool hat, hand-knitted in the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India by local women artisans of the region.

The yarn used is a special hand-spun merino wool sourced from New Zealand. It is scoured using bio-enzymes and then space-dyed using natural dyes. Harvested rainwater heated by solar energy is used at all stages of yarn processing. The dyes have been extracted from natural origins from various parts of India (Indigo, Turmeric, Myrobalan, Walnut hulls, Brazilwood, Catechu extract, Maddar).

Each product takes anywhere between 10-40 days to be made depending on the complexity of the design.
