A hand-stitched tote bag to use as your heart wishes. This Big Bag of Little Treasures is the first of several pieces currently in work with RaasLeela, all of which are being made using offcuts from Bébé Moiré collections.
I am honoured to work with the wonderful Hetal and her team of artisans at RaasLeela Textile in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Hetal is extremely passionate about supporting and inspiring her team every day, allowing them a safe and loving space to use their skills.
Each bag is hand-stitched by Hetal’s incredible team utilising their skills in appliqué and embroidery and featuring offcuts from our previous collections. At no stage are machines used making this employment through stitching. Theirs is a slow approach to creating and to art and it feels so in tune with the Bébé Moiré ethos. Quality takes time, creative expression and release of creative spirit takes time… and should be enjoyed!
Bring this beautiful bag out each Christmas to use as a special family heirloom gift sack, display as a year-round wall hanging (with storage), or use it as your everyday bag.

Textile care

Hand-wash in cold water or machine-wash separately in cold water on delicate cycle.

Use mild, eco-friendly (natural) detergent soap only. Do not soak.

Line dry in shade to avoid fading.

Do not wring or spin on high-speed as it can damage the fabric.

Do not bleach. Warm iron only. Do not tumble dry.
