Handknitted by our artisan partners located in the foothills of the Himalayas, this vest has been created with care by women artisans who are often mothers themselves. The yarn used in these vests is a special hand-spun merino wool sourced from New Zealand. It is scoured using bio-enzymes and then then dyed using Sappanwood, Indigo, Kamala, Catechu and Walnut extracted from natural origins from various parts of India.
Each vest takes anywhere between 20-25 days to be made.
Garment care
Use eco-friendly, mild detergent. Using a harsh or bleaching detergent can result in a total colour shift (especially in the pinks), as natural-dyes are pH-sensitive.
Flat dry inside out.
Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
Store away from moisture and keep folded flat.
